1. What Global Ties Aviation is here

A platform. It lists pilots and operators who have shown their documents to a person at Global Ties Aviation, holds and settles payments, and documents the booking. It is not an air carrier, an operator, an aircraft owner, a pilot, a flight school or a certifying body.

2. Liability

Global Ties Aviation is a platform. It is not the operator, carrier, owner or pilot of any flight booked through it, and it does not control the aircraft, the crew or the conduct of the flight. Global Ties Aviation is not responsible or liable for any damage to or loss of property, any personal injury, illness, medical condition or death, or any delay, diversion or cancellation arising from or connected to a flight, on the ground or in the air. Responsibility for the flight rests with the operator and pilot in command, whose insurance applies. By booking, the passenger accepts this, and by listing, the pilot accepts this.

3. Pilot terms

1. 1.You hold the certificates, ratings, medical, currency and operating authority for every flight you list, and you will not list a flight you may not lawfully sell. GTA verifies documents; you warrant the law.
2. 2.The platform fee: 15% of whatever you charge for a booking completed from 2026-09-01 to 2027-08-31, one way or round trip alike; 18% from 2027-09-01; the schedule may rise after that and is published on the platform page before it does.
3. 3.Founding pilots: Approved before 1 March 2027: 15% through August 2027, 18% after, and never higher for as long as you fly with GTA.
4. 4.Your price for a flight may not exceed the GTA reference for that aircraft class and flight by more than 30%, on any date. You may price higher around holidays, but never above that ceiling.
5. 5.The customer pays on the site. Their card is authorized when they accept the price and captured when you confirm; after the flight, your share is paid to you by transfer, and every booking shows the fee before you accept it.
6. 6.Your aircraft's registration, last service, airworthiness and insurance stay current in your account; a lapsed document pauses your listings until it is replaced.
7. 7.You will not take a GTA customer off the platform for the same flight. Contact details are exchanged only after a booking is confirmed.

What may be listed, and the authority each needs: Passenger flights — Commercial or ATP certificate and Part 135 operating authority (your own certificate or the operator you fly under). Contract pilot — Commercial or ATP certificate with the ratings for the type. Instruction and time building — A current flight instructor certificate (CFI, CFII or MEI). Scenic and air tours — A Part 91.147 letter of authorization, or Part 135 authority.

4. The fee schedule

The pilot's share is paid by transfer after the flight is marked complete. The schedule may rise after August 2027; a change is published on the platform page before it applies and never applies to a founding pilot above the founding cap.

5. The price ceiling

A pilot's price for a flight may not exceed the GTA reference for that aircraft class and flight by more than 30%, on any date, holidays included. The reference (gta-reference-2026-09) is set by the platform, published, and reviewed each quarter:

1. 1.The pilot or operator you book is an independent business. Global Ties Aviation connects you, holds the payment and documents the flight.
2. 2.The price you accept is the price you pay. Your card is authorized when you accept, charged when the pilot confirms, and released in full if the pilot declines or does not confirm in time.
3. 3.Weather, maintenance and air traffic can delay or cancel a flight. The pilot in command decides whether a flight goes; a cancelled flight is not charged.

7. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Accepting a price authorizes the card for that amount; the authorization is captured when the pilot confirms the flight (or, for an airline fare, when the ticket is issued) and released in full if the flight is declined, cancelled before confirmation, or not confirmed within six days. A confirmed flight is cancelled with the desk at support@globaltiesaviation.com; refunds of captured payments are decided by a person.

8. Documents and privacy

Pilot and aircraft documents are stored privately, read by the people who review them, and never published. Passengers see a pilot's name, selfie, certificate level, ratings, base and aircraft facts. Contact details are exchanged between passenger and pilot only after a booking is confirmed.
