GTA PILOTS
Book a verified pilot for the trip you actually need
Holiday, Recreational, Business, Private transportation, Time building. Every pilot on the board has shown a person at Global Ties Aviation their selfie, certificate, medical, operating authority, and each aircraft's registration, last service and insurance. The price is the pilot's, under a published ceiling; you pay here and the card is charged only when the pilot confirms.

We help you get certified. Then we put you to work.
Global Ties Aviation is not a flight school and does not issue certificates. What we do: map the path for the certificate you want, match you with schools and instructors, help you understand the cost and the financing, and when you are certified, bring you into the GTA pilot network first.
Certificates are issued by the FAA after training and testing with a certificated instructor and examiner. GTA arranges, guides and hires; it does not certify.

Questions
Who can list flights?
Pilots and operators who document what they hold: a commercial or ATP certificate for paid flying, Part 135 authority for passenger flights, a CFI certificate for instruction, a 91.147 letter for tours. A person at GTA reviews every document before a listing goes live.
What does GTA take?
15% of what the pilot charges for bookings through 2027-08-31, 18% after. Founding pilots keep the early rate and never pay more than 18%.
How is the price kept fair?
Every listing is checked against the GTA reference for its aircraft class. A pilot may price up to 30% above it and no more, holidays included.
When am I charged?
Your card is authorized when you accept a price and charged when the pilot confirms the flight. If the pilot declines or the flight is cancelled, the authorization is released.
Is GTA the airline or the operator?
No. GTA is the platform. The operator and pilot in command are responsible for the flight, and their insurance applies. The full terms are on the Fly terms page.
Do you issue pilot certificates?
No. We help you plan, find a school and prepare, and we bring you into the network when you are certified.
